Seven Months

Wow.

It's hard to believe we're on the downhill side of your fast approaching first birthday. You are more of a joy to us everyday!

(and since you are such a busybody, it was hilarious trying to capture this month's pic. . . love every ounce of your on-the-go self!)

You weighed in at 18 lbs. 7 oz. when we headed for the remainder of your flu shot. You have hardly any sweet baby rolls - all muscle here! You're solid through and through and give your mama a workout. Especially when I carry you IN the carseat!

You did it. . . you're CRAWLING!

Full fledged hands and knees and on the move since December 2.

This is how we tried to keep you from bumping that sweet noggin of yours on furniture and the hardwood, but you're now too mobile for that!

You LOVE solid food and are eating it twice a day. Your eating schedule is mostly. . .

Bottle around 7:30, fruit/oatmeal around 10:30 with a bottle sometime after, bottle at 2:00, vegetable with bottle at 5:00, and a bottle before bed around 8:00.

You must be going through a growth spurt, because you wake around 3:30 a.m. wanting to eat. This mama's ready for a full night's sleep :)

You also tried baby puffs and Mum-Mums. You're getting the hang of using that fine motor pincer grasp to bring these small items to your mouth and self-feed. Such a big boy!

We've got tooth number three (and four is quickly on its way)! Your top right tooth popped through on Thursday, December 1.

You take a two hour nap in the morning and another hour nap in the afternoon. Yay!!

You love to crawl to the door stoppers and listen to the funny sound they make. You've also spotted plug outlets and night lights. Looks like you'll definitely be my 'curious one'.

Books are becoming more of an interest, especially when your brother is reading them to you.

You love for daddy to throw you in the air and catch you. . . the higher the better.

You experienced your first traditional Gregory/Johnson Thanksgiving in Gatlinburg. You were so good and loved strolling the streets.

Christmas trees are a new fascination as well. Watching you gaze at the lights (and then trying to eat them) is beyond precious.

We love you sweet one and are so blessed to share this special season with you. . .
