3 Months

Wow. . . can you really be a quarter of the way to your first birthday?

These past three months have been so wonderful having you in our home. We can't imagine life without you!

* This month, we transitioned you from the sink to the infant bathtub. You've been big enough for awhile now. . . Mommy and Daddy just had to get it down from the attic :) You still enjoy bathtime - even more so now that you can play in the water.

* The receiving blankets are your favorite and help you fall straight to sleep as you hold them against your face. You also take a pacifier when sleepy, but quickly spit it out when you've fallen asleep.

* You are getting very close to rolling over from back to front. Such a strong boy!

* You've pretty much created a schedule of eat, wake, sleep during the day. You eat 4-6 ounces six times a day (every 2.5 - 3 hours). You've given up your night feedings and are consistently sleeping 8+ hours per night. Woo-hoo!

* Your play gym has become the new favorite toy. You love grabbing the rattles and listening to the music. It's amazing how much your coordination has improved in just a month.

You've also discovered the mirror on your bouncer. I'd stare at that sweet face all day too if I could :)

* You fall more in love with your brother everyday. Praising the Lord for the bond you already share :)

* You have become such a smiley, happy-go-lucky baby. You definitely let us know when you need something, but really enjoy playing and talking to us when you're awake.

* Your coos have turned into high-pitched squeals. Sometimes I think you're fussing, only to find you smiling at yourself or your toys. You've found your voice and love to carry on conversations with us. Cole says that you're telling us riddles :)

* You've become quite ticklish. Under your chin gives us belly laughs most of the time. Precious.

* Mommy was just about ready to transition you to the crib at night, but an evening of sickness quickly deterred that thought. You were better by morning, but I can't imagine you being so far away from me. Maybe soon. . .

* You took your first road trip to Chattanooga. You're quite the traveling pro and were the perfect baby. Makes a trip to the beach seem a little more doable by fall :)
