This year was tons of fun celebrating Independence Day with family and friends. On Sunday the 3rd, we headed towards The Streets for a picnic dinner and ice cream dessert while rounding out the evening with the Hendersonville firework display. After watching the fireworks from the park in years past (and scaring our sweet boy silly), Mimi's Cafe turned out to be the perfect vantage point for taking in the beautiful lights :) Cole LOVED them!

Michael and I knew that the neighborhood fireworks would keep Cole awake (and may cause a little fear) so we decided to have a living room 'camp out'. Broke out the sleeping bags and had so much fun :)
Sunday, we joined with family at my aunt Cristal's home for a grill out. Wonderful dinner with a firework display by the boys. . . wonderful way to spend the 4th!
