Breathtaking

Ever had a moment that simply took your breath away?

I've only had a few of these in my lifetime, but last night was one of them.  

After a busy day of bridal showers and visiting friends (see previous posts), Michael and I decided to take Cole to Lock 3 access after dinner for a little fun and relaxation by the lake.  We enjoyed letting Cole wade in the water and play in the sand, but most of our enjoyment came from watching the sunset over the horizon.  We began by gazing towards the sky every few moments and commenting to Cole about how God paints such beautiful artwork in the heavens.  The beginning pastel pinks and purples were beautiful, but the sunset 'finale' was absolutely breathtaking. . .

Michael and I couldn't take our eyes off of it - even Cole was enamored with its vibrant colors and awesome beauty.  What a creative, glorious God we serve - how amazing are the works of His hands.
