Growing up in TN, I'm pretty used to the humid summers, but the heat has arrived WAY to early for most of us this year. Daily temps for the past two weeks have hit the 90's with the heat index being close to 100. . . and it's not even officially summer! Thankfully, our air conditioning in both home and cars is currently functioning well, so that offers much relief from the outdoor heat.
When outside, you MUST get wet (unless you want to melt into a puddle), so the pool and sprinkler have become fun activities to enjoy.
This one's for the hubby. . .
Major kudos to my sweet man for pressure washing, sanding, and staining our deck over Memorial Day weekend. I offered my assistance while little dude napped, but most of my time was spent keeping Cole and the dog away from the paint :) It looks GREAT!

We hit close to 90 today and I HATE the heat. We too have a pool and sprinklers set up and have pool passes. Unfortunately the kids wear themselves out so much at the pool after 2 days neither of them want to go for many days after wards or go play out in the water, so we have been hanging inside where it is cool.It's more the humidity than anything - uck!
