Although summer has come and gone, the heat has decided to stay. So...we've continued to enjoy the fountains at The Streets on our free evenings.
This past week was the first time Cole would actually go into the water and play. He's a very cautious little boy and checks things out thoroughly before 'diving in'. We met Kyle and Laura on Monday evening for ice cream and couldn't believe how Cole took to the water. He loved Kyle running him through the fountains and finally ventured in himself. We didn't have any dry clothes for him (he never got near the water before...who knew?), so Daddy loaned his undershirt which worked as towel/dry clothing for the ride home.
Because Cole had so much fun, we headed back on Wednesday night with Papa and Gigi. We were prepared this time with swim trunks, swim shirt, towel, and dry clothing. Watching the excitement in his face as the fountains rose and fell was priceless.

Allen and I ate on the patio at Septembers for our anniversary last night and saw you guys playing in the fountains! Looked like SO MUCH FUN!! You really captured the essence of that area of the Streets. . . that's hard to do! I'm so glad Cole is finally running through the water. Can't wait till Jonah can join him! :)
What a neat place. Are the kids actually suppose to play in there or are you starting a new theme park? It is so fun to watch as they explore new things.
I did not know they had the lights on at night, that is cool :)
