Puppy Love

Our boxer, Tank, got some major love this week. He was allowed a bath in our master bathtub.

Being an inside dog, we try to keep him as clean as possible and the rainy/cold weather didn't provide 'outside bath' conditions. And who can resist a sweet boy asking to help Daddy give his puppy a bath in the 'cool' tub?

Michael had some good little helpers and we've now got one good-smellin' puppy :)

Puppy Playtime

Saturday evening, our friends Barrett and Brittany brought over their two 'babies' to play while they headed to church. The puppies had a blast, as did Cole as he watched them rough and tumble around the yard.

Cole and Maple

Whew! This past week has been a whirlwind it seems.

The busyness began on Thursday with our weekly "Wipeout" dinner. Kyle and Laura hosted this week which was bittersweet. It was our last time to visit their apartment as they were packed to move the following day to their first new home. Yay!

While we chatted over dessert, Cole found Maple's crate and had a ball pretending to be a puppy. Maple on the other hand wasn't too sure. . .

Buddies

Cole and Tank have always been buddies, but have really become best pals these past few days. After showering, I noticed that the house was eerily quiet - usually meaning that Cole is snuggled on his bed or ours with a book. As I began my way to his room, I spotted him lying on the floor with his blankie, beside Tank's bed gently petting his head and back. Super sweet. . .
