Happy Birthday Laciana!

This past Thursday, some buddies of mine from high school/college got together to celebrate my sweet friend's thirtieth birthday. The guest of honor was Laciana...a beautiful girl that I met in the fifth grade when we both joined band. She played the flute and I played the clarinet :) We remained friends all through high school and shared an apartment in M'boro while attending MTSU until she got married. We keep in touch here and there, but not like we should. It's a shame that when you get older, life just seems to get in the way and the "busy"ness takes over. Guess that means we all need to slow down a little...
Laciana's husband, Chad, orchestrated the fun party...she was shocked to see us all there! It was wonderful to see so many friends (and their families!). We feasted over Mediterranean cuisine (Laciana's favorite) and just enjoyed catching up.
Laciana and I
Some of the "old" gang (with spouses and children :)) Michael and Cole couldn't come b/c Cole had a slight fever. Oh well...

We posed for so many pictures and were excited to be done!

Laciana's husband, Chad, and their son Casey. She has a little girl named Alexis and another son named Jacob. Such a sweet family!

Laughing at who knows what :)

So fun seeing pics of some of the old gang! You should have all brought your instruments and played "Happy Birthday!" Hope your little man is feeling better.
