New Outdoor Toys

We have been so blessed by friends, neighbors, and even strangers in regards to Cole's large outdoor toys.  We haven't had to purchase any of them!  Michael spotted our first swingset (a simple, metal A-frame w/ swings, teeter-totter, and slide) last spring while doing an appraisal.  The man said he would give it to anyone that would haul it away.  We jumped on that offer and Cole has enjoyed it since last summer.  

Well, a few months ago, a man that works with my dad put up a picture of a swingset that he wanted to give away as well.  This one is a little larger and was perfect for Cole now that he can climb, etc. by himself.  Dad put in a word for us and ta-da...it's ours!  

Michael, Kyle, and my dad went to pick it up last week.  It was in need of a good cleaning and new swings, but other than that it's perfect!  Kyle and Michael braved the heat (such a great uncle and daddy!) and put it together.  After a good pressure wash it was ready to be enjoyed.  Cole loves his new swingset and doesn't even miss the old one.  We were happy to pass that along to some friends of ours...we hope to be a blessing to others just as we were blessed.

Along with his new swingset, Cole has also loved playing with his new T-ball set.  He seems to be a natural at hitting the ball.  He concentrates and rarely misses.  Needless to say, Michael is thrilled!  He's already got Cole trained to have two hands on the bat, feet apart, and eye on the ball.  It's so cute to watch them both...can't believe Cole will be old enough to play in just two more years!
