I just LOVE waking up to a blanket of white. There's something so lovely about the reflection of the sun and the purity it represents.
While eating breakfast, I noticed Cole's sun catcher hanging in the window.
Beautiful reminder. . .
As I looked, “thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was as white as snow; the hair of his head was white like wool. His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze.
Daniel 7:9
After breakfast, making our new behavior chart (see previous post), indoor playtime, and lunch, it was finally time to head out and play. We were especially excited to share the day with Daddy and thankful that he didn't have to head out to any appointments. We are so spoiled (and blessed!) to have him home!
Took the remote controlled ATV out for a snowy spin. Cole LOVED it!

Cole literally smiled or laughed the entire time we played. He was not too thrilled about coming in for naptime, but was appeased with knowing we could play again tomorrow.

Right before heading outdoors, a sand truck came through our neighborhood and sadly melted our 'street fun'. But no worries when Daddy's around. . . he made our 'yard fun' just as enjoyable!

What a FUN day! You totally took advantage of the snow. . . Seeing your pics brought back memories from my childhood. My mom is from the north so she made a huge deal about any snow we would get. . . She would bundle us up and pull out the sleds. So much fun!! We don't even own a sled. How sad! :)
